Among the most ancient artistic motifs is the hand imprint, which could function as a kind of personal signature even before the invention of writing. Here, a luminous force shines through the palm, resonant with the stigmata of Christ, and is amplified with sacred geometry inspired by Islamic patterns. The hands in the background are directly sourced from the Cueva de las Manos, the famous painted cave in Argentina containing hand prints made 9,300 to 1,300 years ago.

This painting is the album cover for the artist’s musical project, Light of the Future on the album AI: Archaic Intelligence. The theme of the album is reconnecting to the wisdom of our archaic past by weaving together futuristic electronic grooves, electric guitar, and ambient sounds from nature. The idea of reviving archaic wisdom is largely inspired by the work of Terence McKenna, the 20th century psychedelic philosopher whose book The Archaic Revival presents critical insights for our modern world that can be found in psychedelic shamanism and the deep origins of human consciousness.
